Welcome to the Californians for the Fair Property Assessment Plan Home Page! We represent an eclectic blend of Californians from a variety of backgrounds who seek to end the unjust tax burden placed on homeowners, workers, students and consumers through California's biggest corporate tax loophole: 1978's Proposition 13. Since Prop 13 is considered an untouchable 'third rail' for California politicians, it is up to voters like us to close the loophole by amending prop 13 through the ballot initiative process. It doesn't take much to change California: Educate yourself, your friends, children, parents, neighbors, and coworkers about prop 13 and the fair property assessment plan; sign the petition; and when the time comes: Vote YES for amending prop 13!!
